I have been such a fan of the H&M designer collaborations for years, basically since the first Karl Lagerfeld collection for H&M. Why!?! Because these collaborations give pretty much everyone access to clothing by creators we love.
Since I am living in London I didn’t miss any of H&M Collaborations. So.. Thursday 5th of November I dropped at 7 a.m at the H&M store., but diehard fans were lined up long before that—some starting as early as 3 a.m. Needless to say, it sold out almost instantly. I manage to get just 3 piece : the earnings, the red clutch and the black ribbed bandeau top because non of the clothes left it on the rail fit me. I am size 8-10 but what ?! neither 12 fit me . The collection was great, the quality was great, but the sizing definitely a little on the small size. Most of the clothes was cut to look great on models, and for any other body type, was a struggle to make them look great. So it’s not my body fault, its the designer fault.
