My Style

Cover Me

October 24, 2014

Totally fallin’ for fall more than ever right now in London. Now it’s all about those big scarves (the bigger the better with scarves this season) , cozy knit sweaters, broken-in boots, that perfect  slouchy jeans to make you feel great head to toe. The Colour Block Check Blanket Poncho Burberry Prorsum  from A/W 2014 Collection has been my complete obsession lately here. I can not express my euphoria when I finally found this similar scarf in Zara London. Continue Reading…

Once again it’s a proof that Burberry’s fall 2014 collection here and here has been higly influencial for Zara. And I beleive it’s just the beginning. Christopher Bailey took Burberry Prorsum down a more bohemian path this season, with hand-painted prints, bias-cut crepe silk,  and liberal use of scarves and ponchos. Get the same scarf for less in Zara here .

I try to avoid foundation as much as I can, because for me skin should look natural. The only two things I am very generous on my daily makeup is my mascara and red lipstick, just to accentuate my look. So as you can see on my pictures, I like to look fresh and natural using neutral shades, yet I feel it works with my personal style. I am not big into make-up, not because I don’t like it, but because I don’t know much about it. I can’t deny the fact that the lack of makeup products in my daily routine was always mostly because I have a pretty good skin naturally. Continue Reading…

How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are

October 10, 2014

Dear girls (and a few boys), currently I am loving all things French from macarons and pain au chocolat to style and fashion/beauty culture (in love with Parisian accent). I have recently moved on to some literature and have just finished reading  How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are by Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, Caroline de Maigret, and Sophie Mas and I suggest adding this book to your bookshelf. How can you not love a book that tells you how to be mysterious and sensual AND look natural. Continue Reading…
